easy retrieval.
The programming language used is PHP and the interface is built with HTML, Javascript
and Flash.
The system is optimized to be accessed with the Firefox web browser; we can not
guarantee that it will work properly with any other browser. The reason for this
is that all browsers handle Javascript differently and the Javascript we use is of
a kind that Firefox understands. Note that this browser is superior to all other
browsers when it comes to stability, speed and security.
This software will not work properly with Internet Explorer 6. This browser should
not be used with any web service due to its instability.
The above facts make it possible for you to use the software as a web service that
we provide for you, using the software as a service means that your data will be on
a protected server with automatic backup so you can sleep well. This will also enable
you to use the software everywhere on this planet where you have access to the internet. However, if your internet connection is unreliable this is not the option for you.
If you have an unreliable internet connection or no connection at all fear not.
It's a small thing to set the software up for you with all the services needed on
a local machine. An added benefit of the fact that the software is built with web
technologies is that if you have a local area network anyone on the LAN can access
the software through their browsers when the machine running the software is turned on.
The con is that if the host machine gets stolen or breaks down your information could
be lost forever. That is why we offer a backup service for you in case you have access
to the internet, no matter how unreliable it is. Whenever you have access you can
backup your whole database and upload it to our safe server with a few simple clicks.
